Thomas Magnum Tom Selleck is a private investigator who works as part of a security team in the palatial mansion of millionaire businessman Robin Masters. Using his luxurious surroundings as his base Magnum runs a daily battle with various criminals as he seeks to track them down and report their illicit activities. However he also faces a constant battle with the caretaker of Masters' estate Jonathan Higgins John Hillerman particularly when Magnum zooms off in the 308 GTS Ferrari that has been left at his disposal! It all adds up to an action packed show from the early 1980s that manages to capture much of the fashion and excesses of the decade. This release presents the first season in its entirety with Selleck masterful as the mustachioed P.I. throughout!

Hawaiian-set detective program MAGNUM P.I. was a huge hit during the 1980s finishing in the top 20 shows during the first five seasons it aired. Tom Selleck who won an Emmy in 1984 for his performance plays Thomas Magnum a Vietnam Vet who retires from the military and moves to the Pacific islands to start a private detective agency. His allies include a couple of army buddies who also live on the islands and proper former British army officer Jonathan Higgins caretaker of the mansion where Magnum stays and foil to Magnum's fun-loving ways. In SEASON TWO Magnum and the other characters were further developed over the 22 episodes which included guest stars such as Vera Miles Tyne Daly Pat Morita and others. A deft combination of action and mystery coupled with Selleck's humorous and charismatic performances MAGNUM P.I. is one of television's most entertaining detective shows.

The BBC network strikes again with this series. MI-5 concerns a group of undercover UK security agents who are not only forced to lie to the dangerous groups that they infiltrate but they must lie to their families as well. Incorporating cutting edge technology this taut thriller is television at its most inventive. Includes all six episodes from the first season.

Dennis Leary JESUS' SON ICE AGE stars in the FX channel's dramedy RESCUE ME playing Tommy Gavin a New York firefighter under pressure from all sides. Still suffering from the events of 911 he is haunted by the past while adjusting to the present which includes a separation from his wife Janet Andrea Roth. He now resides across the street from her so that he can stay close to his children whom he bribes to supply him with information as to mom's comings and goings. Tommy's quirky fellow firefighters on Ladder 62 include the compulsive gambler Chief Jerry Reilly Jack McGee the handsome but rather light Sean Garrity Steven Pasquale cocky Puerto Rican ladies man Franco Rivera Daniel Sunjata and newbie Mike Silletti Mike Lombardi who is the brunt of many an initiatory prank. Tommy finds relief from his woes by talking them out with his cousin Jimmy James McCaffrey SHE HATE ME--only Jimmy died in the World Trade Center attacks.

Dean Martin stars as the original swinger agent, Matt Helm, in this four-disc set including: THE SILENCERS, MURDERERS ROW, THE WRECKING CREW, and THE AMBUSHERS.

THE SILENCERS: The first of the series of Matt Helm films, the big cheese of Big O, an organization that wants to sabotage the American atomic missile system. It's up to secret agent Helm to save the day.

MURDERER'S ROW: The handsome top agent Matt dies a tragic death in his bathtub - the women mourn about the loss. However it's just faked for his latest top-secret mission: He shall find Dr. Solaris, inventor of the Helium laser beam, powerful enough to destroy a whole continent. It seems Dr. Solaris has been kidnapped by a criminal organization. The trace leads to the Cote D'Azur.

THE AMBUSHERS: A government space saucer is hijacked mid-flight by a powerful laser beam under the control of Jose Ortega, who then proceeds to rape the female pilot, Sheila Sommars. ICE sends agent Matt Helm to Acapulco with Sheila to recover the saucer, under the guise of Matt taking fashion photographs of beautiful models. Matt is temporarily sidetracked, falling prey to the seductive charms of enemy agent Franceca Madeiros.

THE WRECKING CREW: The count has stolen enough gold to cause a financial crisis in the world markets so I.C.E. sends in ace spy Matt Helm to stop him. As Matt works alone, the British send in Freya to aid Matt, but it seems that Freya causes more problems than she solves.
