In January of 2001, American director James Longley traveled to the Gaza Strip. His plan was to stay for two weeks to collect preliminary material for a documentary film on the Palestinian Intifada. It was during his stay that Ariel Sharon was elected as Israeli Prime Minister. As violence erupted around him, Longley threw away his return ticket and filmed for the next three months, acquiring nearly 75 hours of footage.
Gaza Strip, his first feature documentary, is an extraordinary and painful journey into the lives of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip struggling with the day-to-day trials of the Israeli occupation. Filmed in verité style and without narration, Gaza Strip at last gives voice to a population largely ignored by mainstream media.

CROSSING CHASMS is a documentary about Jennifer Arndt, a Korean adoptee, who returns to her birth country seeking answers to the complex questions surrounding her adoption. In her search to define her identity, she walks through her past to understand the present. On this journey she meets other Korean adoptees who share their experiences as she tries to track down her own biological family. Through her own story and the testimonies of seven other adoptees, we learn about the complex issues facing Korean adoptees through their own voices. Ms. Arndt began extensively researching and interviewing adoptees in September 1996 during her first trip to Korea. CROSSING CHASMS is the first completed portion of a greater body of media work in progress, pertaining to issues of international adoption.

Every now and then something happens that thrust custom motorcycling, and its associated lifestyle blinking into the glare of the spotlight. Life magazine started the ball rolling in 1947 with their Hollister cover story, it was picked up by The Wild One in '53, and then Easy Rider in 1969. There has been a myriad selection of others with lurid titles and plotlines since, the majority has been commercially, and shamelessly exploiting the genre, or the fears of an impressionable public, with few breaking the surface and establishing a fan base.
Choppertown, the independently produced film by One World Studios, is up there with the giants as a potentially life-changing classic that will find a broad audience, not least among men, and could re-establish a grass-roots motorcycle culture. Strangely compulsive viewing, it is a frank, intimate and disarming look at the relationships of a group of exclusively male riders - the Sinners of the title - centered around the story of one member, Kutty Noteboom, building his first ground-up bike with the help of fellow Sinner, Rico, and his workshop. ~from American V-twin Magazine, July 2006

Remarkable acting, striking visuals, and dead-on direction from Kim Ki-Duk (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter...and Spring; The Isle) make BAD GUY an edgy tour de force. Kim submerges the audience in the underground world of Seoul's red-light district and takes them on a surrealistic, darkly romantic ride. It depicts the relationship between a young college girl forced into prostitution and the pimp who orchestrated her demise and silently watches from behind a false mirror.
