"Beefcake," Thom Fitzgerald's (The Hanging Garden) provocative blending of fiction and documentary, tells the story of Bob Mizer, the pioneering founder of the Athletic Model Guild, a company which produced still photographs and short films extolling the beauty and chiseled physiques of men. The fiction story follows photographer and enterprising businessman Mizer, who teamed up with his mother in 1945 to film his beefy star-wannabes around his sun-drenched pool. It is here that Neil, a naive, right-off-the-bus teen is lured into using his handsome looks to become a model. The wide-eyed Neil soon learns about the world of sex and prostitution. But a police raid and ensuing criminal trial soon threaten both of the men's worlds. Interspersed with the story are rare archival footage and interviews with former co-workers, customers and models

Award winning documentary. After finding a most unusual web site that was seeking funds to help reverse a sex change, award winning filmmaker Tom Murray set out on a cross country journey to explore just a small part of the vastly diverse transgender community. What happens with a young Gay man, struggling not only with his sexuality but also gender, decides to have surgery to become a female, and later decides to return to being a Gay man again? Can someone live their life full time as a female, but still have a penis? These are just some of the stories told in the fascinating, poignant, informative and some may say controversial documentary ALMOST MYSELF. The film focuses primarily on women who are white and older, yet were identified as male at birth. The stories include journeys of boyhood to womanhood and the struggles of mending and transcending gender.

International superstar John Holmes made well over 200 full-length films, and his movies still sell today. At the height of his career, he worked with a Who s Who of Grindhouse actresses including Seka, Marilyn Chambers, Ginger Lynn, Candy Samples, and many others. Holmes commanded the then unheard of salary of $3,000 a day in his prime, and he also had a lucrative man for hire business, where wealthy women paid big bucks for a night with the legend. Holmes sold snippets of his hair to female fans. He admitted that when he was trimmed out his girlfriend would just snip some hair off her poodle and sell that! He has been the subject of a couple documentaries including Wadd the moniker of his hard-boiled detective screen character.

Featured on this rare collection - Dear Pam (1976) Advice columnist Pam Slanders (Crystal Sync) is a respected columnist, who has been nominated for the Most Moral Woman of the Year Award by the Decency and Morality League. The League consists of Rose Cummings (Jennifer Jordan), Richard Grandik (John Holmes) and Barton Fartblow (Tony The Hook Perez). The stellar cast also includes Eric Edwards and C.J. Laing.

Also in this collection are ten authentic rare 1970 s 8mm loops starring Holmes hand-picked by yours truly, 42nd Street Pete.
